Peer Support Practice in Aotearoa New Zealand 2011

The NZ Peer Support Network is pleased to support this piece of New Zealand research completed in March 2011 on peer support services.

This research undertaken by Dr Anne Scott, Dr Carolyn Doughty, and Hamuera Kahi of the University of Canterbury took over 2 years to complete and provides an in-depth understanding of peer support services within Aotearoa New Zealand.  This involves defining peer support, the practical and organisational issues for peer support services as well as a wider perspective of peer services within the current health system.
